I’m really liking how this one turned out. I feel like I was able to drill down to the important shapes while keeping things lively and specific to the source. I’m including some of the sketches I used during the process, a couple of iterations of the same pose.

The Drawn-slaught Continues

So, I’m continuing my previous efforts. I’m actually starting to like some of the results, although I feel like the shapes could be pushed even further – more simplificaiton of the form, more focus on silhouettes. In the meantime, I’m quite happy with the shape of the legs and shoes in the first image and the curve of the back and arm of the snowboarder lady.

More Drawings? Really?

Continuing with my efforts to create a simple but appealing drawing style. I think I’m still a little too close to reality, I really need to simplify some of these shapes. Anyway, this is the next batch!
