Colors, Colors, Colors…

I’m coloring Chopper Zombie right now and it’s keeping me pretty busy. Coloring is something I’m very comfortable with at this point in my career. I’ve colored quite a few books, many of which you can check out in the Gallery section of this webpage.

 It’s a tedious process in alot of ways, you do the same thing on every page. That said, I think color is one of the most important parts of a comic book. There’s alot of storytelling that can happen with the use of color. In a way, coloring a scene is a bit like lighting a set. You can set a mood, highlight certain characters, even direct your eye in a way the pencils or inks can’t.
